Climate change
Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Such shifts can be natural, due to changes in the sun’s activity or large volcanic eruptions. But since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.
Social issues and the environment
In today’s world majority of the environmental issues we face are also social issues. These environmental issues becoming social issues when they tend to impact a large number of individuals in society. Some well known examples of this would be climate change, global warming and deforestation.
Environment and Development
Progress on the environment-related Sustainable Development and the triple crises of food, energy and finance associated conflicts and climate change have highlighted the inherent socio-economic and environmental vulnerabilities in the region. Without coordinated action, climate change and environmental degradation will cause increased socioeconomic consequences,harming human health and wellbeing, especially for the most vulnerable population and countries in Asia and the Pacific.

Support to Build Food and Livelihood Security in smallholder farming communities to reduce their poverty.
The Rural and Environment Development Center (REDC )is a local non-governmental organization (NGO) working in Humla district since 2066 BS. It is an independent, non-profit social organization founded by a group of like-minded youth with experience in various fields to promote youth capacity development and provide opportunities to youth.
Basically :We work for the livelihoods of the poor and marginalized communities by adapting to climate change and reducing disaster risk. Energy, health and sanitation, agriculture and food security, and conservation of biodiversity and management of ecosystems .
We have an in-house pool of dedicated professionals to provide excellent results oriented services. Our directors and staff have a wealth of experience managing and supporting consulting projects, and we are proud to be building good relationships, working closely with a variety of thematic experts, partners, donors and technical training providers.
